Large 19th Century Oak Refectory Dining Farmhouse Table

Description

On offer is this very large and beautifully carved draw leaf refectory table.

The table has obviously been used over the years without being fully extended , therefore the end leaves are clearly a darker colour than the main portion of the table top. Our cabinet maker could easily either darken the centre section to match the end leaves or lighten the end sections to match the existing colour of the top. This I think would be favourite as the main table top is a lovely golden oak colour. However the choice is up to the buyer to decide. This work would be included in the cost of the table.

The table measure

118 ins when fully extended

71 ins when shut

39 ins wide

This table would seat 14 very comfortably and 16 at a push!

This table also has the advantage of the herring bone stretcher which enables the chairs to be placed under the table when not in use.
