Here we have a fine quality Cuban Mahogany George III table c1770. As you can see the table has exceptional colour and patina. There are two solid Mahogany planks which fold out on a gateleg system to create a larger tea table. The planks are of the finest Mahogany and have wonderful colour and patina. The planks have a rounded edge and below a cross banded frieze with a delicate bead. The legs as you would expect are internally chamfered and have a decorative moulding to the outer most point. This rare table has a secret drawer once the gatleg has been turned outwards. The drawer is Oak lined. A rare and beautiful example of the finest Mahogany in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 33 inches wide 16 deep and 28 high. The top is approx 33 x 32 inches when open.
