Unusual Large Tulip Carved Victorian Antique Mahogany Extending Dining Table

This Unusual Large Tulip Carved Antique Mahogany Extending Dining Table dates from the early Victorian period circa, 1850, this wonderful table has a beautifully figured solid mahogany top and three central removable leaves which when extended are held in place with unusual brass clips. It stands on Four beautifully turned tulip design carved legs with brass cup castors and would quite comfortably seat ten dinner guests. The mahogany has been finished to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
