Victorian carved Gothic oak desk or writing table. 19th Century, possibly European continent origins. This is a lovely quality piece, that is full of age, charm and character. Solid, heavy and with no loose joints....a rare find. Rather charming gap between two planks on the top. Lovely warm and mellow colouring with a glorious patina. The oak lined drawers slide freely (some internal staining as one would expect).

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations. No key and the lock is consequently untested. There are a few historic extinct woodworm holes, that we have treated for good measure.

Overall maximum dimensions: 120cm wide, 70cm deep, 73cm high, 55cm high knee hole.
