A late 19th century superb quality Chinese hardwood hexagonal pot stand of small proportions.

This pot stand is of unusual shape with the hexagonal top being of concave form.

The top has a black variegated marble inset top in very good condition surrounded by a Chinese hardwood carved edge.

The top is supported by highly decorative and carved brackets of bats and other traditional Chinese symbols.

These lead down to the six carved legs all with bamboo decoration and are supported by a cross stretcher.

This pot stand is of superb quality and is an unusual shape, is in excellent condition, of sound construction and can go straight into a home.
