Edwardian hand painted satin walnut work side sewing table basket. This is a lovely item, that is full of age, charm and character. Rare lozenge shape, with an oak compartment tray and a fold out pin cushion.

An attractive and rare piece with a beautiful hand painted decoration. Solid, with no loose joints or wobbles. Great age and patina (not over restored). No woodworm.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations. No key and the lock is untested. The silk pleated fabric is not new and has some light wear and minor marks.

Overall maximum dimensions: 50cm wide, 34cm deep, 77cm high.
