Victorian Solid French Walnut Antique Extending Dining Table

This Solid French Walnut Antique Extending Dining Table dates from the Victorian period circa, 1900. It has a beautifully figured solid walnut top with moulded edges and two central removable leaves with a moulded frieze around all the edges. This super table benefits from later brass fittings making it solid and sturdy once extended. It stands on decorative turned legs with bun feet and brass castors. The walnut has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
