Victorian 19th Century inlaid oval burr walnut tilt top loo breakfast table. A breathtaking top, with matched veneers and inlays on a very impressive carved base. Unusual shaped and carved border to the top. This is a lovely table, full of age, charm and character. Very rare and attractive.

The table is heavy, solid and has no loose joints, standing on a large and impressive base with dissimilar period brass and ceramic castors. There are veneer imperfections, such as chips, wear, light bubbling etc., but it is common with burr walnut veneered tables and all is now stable, adding to the charm and authenticity of the piece. There are some historic woodworm holes, believed extinct, but treated for good measure. Some wear in the castors, as is usual and to be expected. Later thumb screws.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.

Overall maximum dimensions: 134cm long, 96cm wide, 70cm high (158cm high when tilted up).
