A George IV Gillows Flower Table

Description

A small beautifully proportioned Oak Flower Table by Gillows, having a dished serpentine shaped top, raised on a turned and cluster columned base terminating in cabriole feet. Great colour and original condition throughout.

Dimensions Height: 77cm - 30 1/4 Inches, Width: 35cm - 13 1/2 Inches, Depth: 25.5cm - 10 Inches

This design of table features in the Gillows Estimate Sketch Books for 16 July 1822 and another example appears in the S.Stuart, Gillows of Lancaster and London 1730-1840, volume II, page 97.
