Description

Gillows of Lancaster: An exceptional quality mid-19th century William IV or early Victorian CARD TABLE in lovely condition.

Constructed of rosewood, the finely figured top features a "gadroon" carved edge, opening and turning to reveal the green baize-lined playing interior. It is supported on a solid turned and carved rosewood central column, leading to the four glorious carved legs which terminate in scroll-carved feet with central cabochons and original concealed castors within.

A stunning, eye-catching and impressive table of great quality. 36ins wide.
