A Rare Rosewood & Calamander Sofa Table Attributed to Gillows

Description

On "hockey stick" end supports with fine spindle turnings and twin high stretchers, the legs terminate in the original castors. The 2 mahogany lined drawers retain their original turned rosewood knobs and brass locks. The top is of beautifully matched rosewood with a contrasting calamander banding. 915 mm wide, 685 mm deep, 710 mm high and 1485 mm wide with the flaps up. Circa 1825
