George II Mahogany Side Table C.1750.

Description

Simple little George II mahogany side table c.1750. Just 26½" wide, with a single piece solid mahogany top with rounded corners and moulded edge over a single oak lined drawer retaining the original brass handle. On very elegant slim tapering legs with shaped brackets at the shoulders and neatly carved pad feet – a signature of Georgian furniture design.

We are presenting this fine little table in unrestored condition, missing three of the little shaped brackets above the rear legs and damage to the cock beading around the drawer front.

Dimensions: width 26½", depth 17", height 28".
