Description

This is a beautiful red lacquered occasional table with superb detail dating from the early 20th century, circa 1920. The table is a Burmese piece signed by the artist and the writing on the top states he was from the village of Pajan where the piece was made. The other inscription gives a blessing for good health. The octagonal table has a folding panel stand and is in super order. The painted detail is profuse to the top, with much detail and a fine central stylised peacock. The table measures 24" across by 19" high.
