Antique Dining Table with Matching Set of Twelve Dining Chairs

Description

This large early Victorian extending dining table and matching set of twelve Victorian dining chairs were bought together in a private house. The previous owners thought the items had been supplied new to one of their ancestors 160 or so years earlier.

The table and chairs are made in good quality figured mahogany with well turned and facetted legs topped with a carved tulip.

The chairs are large and comfortable with old green leather over-stuffed seats. The table has recently been polished by a very good French polisher and now is in excellent order.

Table 53 1/4" wide x 131 1/2" long x 29 1/4" high

Chairs seats 18" wide x 17" deep, total height 34 1/2"
