Large Circular Victorian Solid Mahogany Antique Dining Table

This Large Circular Victorian Solid mahogany Antique Dining Table circa, 1840 has been constructed from the finest quality mahogany timbers. It is of lovely large proportions and would easily seat six. The spectacular circular top is beautifully figured with a moulded edge that tilts with the original brass mechanism. It stands on a cylindrical turned pedestal with tripod base and beautifully scrolled carved feet with brass castors. The Mahogany has aged to a rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
