Description

This is a stunning French walnut foldover card table in the Louis XV style, dating from the 19th century. The table has beautiful figured walnut grain which has an exceptional rich, warm colour and good patina. The shaped rectangular leather inset top opens to a red baize and gilt-stamped leather playing surface. the table is raised on elegant, gilt-metal mounted cabriole legs terminating in sabots. The table measures 72cm by 102cm by 60cm. When opened the table measures 102cm by 113cm.
