The Antique Partnership has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The top is of three wide planks being sycamore and pine with good grain and knots. As with these tables of such an age it is covered with knife cuts,stains,ring marks and old worm holes (treated) this is what creates its patina and charm. The base is of oak and is of a simple but sturdy design allowing chairs to locate under the top on both sides. The whole is completely original.
