This table would most likely have been used in a country property in France. The table features a beautiful cherry wood figured top, which has a stunning colour & grain configuration. The working drawer, which features the original brass knobs, closes flush to the frame. The drawer is oak lined and hand dovetailed. The table features a very pretty shaped apron to the front and sides. Below, four elegant cabriole legs support the table.
This item features a mellow cherry wood colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
Condition Report:
This table is in excellent original condition. There are no stains or cup marks to the top of the table. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The working drawer is oak lined, hand dovetailed and features the original brass knob. The drawer is in good working order and closes flush to the frame. As the table boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination. This table is solid in joint and ready to use.
