Description

An elegant little mahogany table dating from the late 19th/early 20th century. This useful piece of furniture – sometimes referred to as a kettle stand – has a pull-out candle slide, a square top with a small beaded upstand moulding, and is supported on four square-section legs. It can be used in any room in the house: as an occasional table; a wine table; or in place of a bedside cupboard. It is English, c.1890/c.1910, and has an original finish with a good, rich colour and patina.
