Circa 1800 George III Superb and Unusual Plum Pudding Mahogany Blind Fret Carved Card Table.

Description

Circa 1800 George III period superb and desirable plum pudding mahogany card table. With the most unusual and original blind fret carving to the frieze and both outside edges of each square leg, this is a very striking card table that can also be used for serving, dining, as a hall table, or other uses.

Size-32 inches long by 32 inches deep open, or 16 inches deep closed, by 28 inches high.

The top folds over and is supported by a "flying leg," revealing a baize lined interior with embossed edge, ready for game playing.

A stunning table, with very good age, colour, and unusual features, in very good condition.

A great value.
