The table features a lovely quality mahogany polished top when closed. The top of the table features an elegant gadroon edged moulding. Below There is a straight frieze. When the table is opened, the table reveals newly replaced green baize, which is in excellent clean condition. When the table is opened, a slide out leg supports the table but also houses a secret storage box, which is ideal for storing not only playing cards but possibly valuable items too! Elegantly shaped cabriole legs that feature scroll carvings to the frieze of the table terminate in pronounced ball and claw feet support the table.

The table features a rich dark mahogany colour. As they boast the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and the years of care and cleaning they have received.

This truly is a very beautiful item with quality construction and is original throughout. It is rare to see one in such good condition. This item would certainly grace any home. So don't miss out your chance to own such a lovely antique item.

Condition Report:
This card table is in excellent working condition. There are no scratches or water stains to the top either. The tabletop hinges are original and in excellent working order. The green baize inside the table has been newly replaced which means its in excellent clean condition. The pullout leg slides open smoothly. All four legs are solid and support the table. As this table retains its original polish, it ensures there is an excellent colour and patination to the timber. This colour can only be found in furniture with its original polish; it cannot be recreated with new polish. The table is free of woodworm, solid in joint (not loose or wobbly) and ready to use.
