Description

A superb George III tilt-top tripod table in mahogany. The circular top, of the highest grade well-figured timbers, retains its original finish having the most sublime colour and patination.The baluster-turned pedestal is supported by three elegantly shaped cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. This beautiful late 18th century general-purpose occasional table – so rare for being in an untouched original condition and not over-restored – is English, c1780/c1800.
