Grand Solid Mahogany, Large Victorian Antique Extending Dining Table

This Large Antique Dining Table is constructed from a quality solid mahogany and dates from the late Victorian period ca. 1890. It has a ‘Joseph Fitter’ winding mechanism along with winding handle and three large central removable leaves so is very versatile. The top has a moulded edge sitting above four cabriole legs with fine quality decorative carvings and ball and claw feet. This table can easily seat 12 people and is very sturdy for everyday use. It has aged to a warm mellow shade of mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
