Quality Solid Mahogany Georgian Antique Tripod Table

This beautiful quality antique tripod table dates from around 1780 in the Georgian period and is constructed from solid mahogany. The circular one piece top tilts using a brass mechanism. It stands on an attractive vase shaped pedestal supported by tripod splayed legs finished with pad feet. The mahogany is a lovely rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
