M.S. Champion.
The H.M.S. Champion was a C-light cruiser in the Royal Navy, she saw service in World War I.
Champion was built during 1914, launched in 1915 and decommissioned in 1924.
10 years later, in 1934, H.M.S. Champion was sold for scrapping, this nest of teak garden tables came from that.
The teak timbers have faded beautifully overtime to a pale, grey/ silver colour.
Traditionally made using the strong, pegged method.
All three teak garden tables are in very good, solid condition.
Complete with makers badge, ' Listers & Co Dursley England' and also labelled, ' Made from teak from H.M.S. Champion'
Now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
