Rosewood Fold Over Card Table

19th century
Description

Handsome early 19th.c. rosewood side table c.1835. Stands flat against the wall as a side table or turn and open the top to make a useful square table for four with a green baize for playing cards etc and a storage well below. Well figured rosewood veneers, cross banded edge to the interior and attractive carved detail. Raised on an elegant octagonal section column, repeated in the shape of the feet. Very good condition with original brass hinges.

Dimensions: width 36", depth 18"/36", height 29".
