Large Georgian Mahogany Dining Table

A large and fine Georgian mahogany Dining Table. The table stands on Gillows type turned and tapered legs. The table has three interlocking leaves which can be used in varying number. The table collapses down to a Pembroke table with, the rounded ends of the table making the pembroke drop leaves. The table is very similar to designs created for campaign dining tables, made to go traveling with. The whole is in good untouched country house condition with just a watermark on one of the leaves. The table has a good faded colour having not been repolished. A rare table from the Georgian period it is practical and usable today, to seat 10 or 12. C.1810.
