Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 1800s.
, whilst below is the silk-pleated "U" shaped wool/embroidery drawer, which slides forward. It is supported on well turned solid legs which terminate in the original brass castors.

Fully free-standing with "dummy" drawers to the reverse side. Superb original condition.
There are a number of features of this table than can be found in illustrations in the book "Gillows of London and Lancaster" by Susan E. Stuart. Of particular note are the recessed "panels" either side of the drawers and the original handles which are turned to the front facets.
