Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1900s.
It has a solid mahogany top with a moulded edge, rounded corners and comes complete with a winding handle, wind out mechanism and a single large central removable leaf. It stands on four tapering legs with spade feet finished with brown porcelain castors. The mahogany is a mellow shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
