An Anglo Indian Octagonal Brass and Ebony Inlaid Table C 1910

Description

A good Anglo Indian octagonal brass and ebony inlaid shisham table c 1910 in excellent condition with rich colour to the top and unusually no damage to the carved mihrabs on the side.

An almost identical table is illustrated in Amin Jaffer`s Furniture from British India and Ceylon : V and A Publications 2001 on p 293 attributed to Lahore.

Size 20 ins diameter 24 ins high
