A large George 111 mahogany Irish Wake table c 1800 of plain oval design with hinged flaps.

This Georgian wake table is a comfortable 8 seater with a well figured top made from faded Honduran mahogany. There are a couple of old patches to the top and one repaired crack but it is absolutely flat with no warps The undercarriage and the gates are in original condition and it is extremely rare to find a period wake table of this size on the market.

Size 66 by 64 ins when open and 28.5 ins high.
