Pair early C20th French marble-topped wrought iron console tables. Decorated with applied cut-brass leaf embellishments and floral motifs , great pair of tables to bring symmetry to a hall, orangery or conservatory. Of serpentine outline with interlaced loop design to friezes , stylised open 'cabriole' supports, scroll feet and shaped under stretchers. Could benefit from having decoration refreshed , but at present have a distressed original cream paint finish with some over-paint to gilt brass-work. Very stylish and chic look ,and rare to find a matching pair. Fitted with loose ,moulded-edge figured Italian 'Travertine' marble tops which are in perfect condition. H 30" x W 33" x D 15".
