Superb Quality Large Japanese Satsuma Plate- Signed

1900 - 1920
Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this fine quality Japanese satsuma plate,the plate is bordered in blue ground with fine floral gilding while the central panel depicts tranquil scenes of geishas and children in the garden with a lake in the background , the quality of the painting is lovely with very fine detail throughout especially the costumes and around the prunus tree ,signed in a gilt tablet on the underside, a great plate for the satsuma or Japanese collector !!

The condition is fabulous with minimal gilt rubbing and no damage whatsoever , a real joy !!
