This is an attractive and good quality antique oak extending rustic rectangular coffee table, circa 1920. The top consists of a single large panel and then two smaller adjustable leaves either side. The side panels can be pulled out to enlarge the coffee table. When the extending leaves are not required, they can be slid under the central leave for storage. Rectangular in shape, the rounded corners feature cleated sides. The coffee table has been designed with a rustic theme in mind and has been construed using the traditional English peg construction method. The four legs consist of carved interwoven barely twist legs. The legs are connected to the feet, which is supported by a central stretcher for additional support. This rustic coffee table is unique and quirky and would be an ideal interior decorators item.

Condition Report:
This table is in very good condition and is commensurate with its age. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The item has been waxed polished. There is an excellent colour and patination to the timber. Free of woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
