Here we have a fine quality Victorian Rosewood inlaid work table c1870. As you can see the table has wonderful colour and patina. The top is inlaid with typical patera, swags, ribbon and floral design. The rising lid reveals compartments with original fabric and an integral writing slope which is rare. The writing slope lifts to reveal an open well again with original paper lining. The front frieze is again beautifully inlaid as is the outside of the the well which has a wonderful scalloped edge. The legs are exquisitely turned with original casters and a well formed cross stretcher. A beautiful period table in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 24 inches wide 16 deep and 27 high.
