It has a draw leaf mechanism with a beautifully figured top that has rounded corners and two central removable leaves held in place by brass ‘D’ clips. It stands on four beautifully turned legs with subtle carvings which are finished with brown porcelain castors. This is a truly stunning antique dining table with a fabulous solid mahogany top that has the usual character marks from age and use. Rather than detracting from the tables overall quality look, they really do add to its feel of authenticity, value and beauty. The table is a mellow shade of mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
