An Early Victorian Rosewood Sutherland Table

Description

A small early Victorian rosewood sutherland table with oval leaves.

Very striking attractive grain to the top. Turned support columns and shaped feet. There has been restoration to one of the edges to the leaf edge abbuting the rule joint but due to the overall quality of this table I feel this is of little consequence.(It is also reflected in the price).

The gateleg action works perfectly and each leg has a brass castor.

53.5 cms long by 15 cms deep when closed and 54.5 cms high. The oval top 73 cms max by 53.5 when open.
