Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
Originally made around 1770 in the Westmoreland area, now in Cumbria.
The slab top is made using a piece of fabulous, well grained oak and on the top you can see a lovely usage of darker pegs to fix the boards together and the ends are cleated, all original.
The serving table base has four, square tapering oak legs with drawers which are cock beaded with good quality, period brass handles and escuteons.
In super condition throughout, very strong and sturdy and the lovely oak colour and patina is just wonderful.
