Chinese Table

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1920, rectangular Chinese table with a wonderful colour top and burr wood insert. Beneath the top is a simple moulding and an ogee apron. Just before the legs is a carved pattern in the Chinese taste on each side of the table, and quarter brackets with solid scrolling ends. The four legs are carved on the top with a motif that looks similar to an eagle head. The legs are turned and united by four unusual and stylish stretchers, finishing in an elaborate carved toe. Mellow in colour with wonderful style.

Size 46.5cm high x 51cm wide x 32cm deep.

Most items include delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.
