It has a serpentine moulded top above an oak lined bow fronted central drawer flanked by four smaller oak lined drawers all having working locks operated from the same key. The piece has original ornate brass swan neck handles and stands on tapering legs with spade feet. It is a rich dark mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
