Table Side Tea or Lamp George II Mahogany C1750

Description

Here we have a exceptional George II Mahogany drop leaf tea, hall or side table c1750. As you can see the table has super colour and patina. The top is comprised of two single pieces of the finest Mahogany with carefully chosen grain. There is a single drawer to the front which is Oak lined. The table is of course of double pegged construction with tapered legs to pad feet. There is a gate leg to the rear to recieve the flap and the lovely original rebated joint to the centre. The table is a wonderful size when the flap is down making it useful as a lamp or hall table or an exqusite bedside. A beautiful period table in lovely retail condition. The dimensions are approx 29 inches wide 14 deep and 27 deep flap up and 27 high.
