Description

A lovely late 18th century satinwood DEMI-LUNE CARD TABLE in good original condition.

In the manner of Seddon (and possibly by him?) the top of this fine table is veneered in well-figured West Indian satinwood, crossbanded and hand-painted with flowers and leaves. It opens to reveal the baize-lined interior, whilst the 'panelled' frieze is similarly hand-painted, as are the tapering legs which include the two rear gate-legs. 36ins wide.
