Regency Scottish Birds-eye Maple Work Table

19th century
Description

FINE quality Regency Scottish birds-eye maple wood work table. Trestle ends united by turned bottom stretcher and carved lion feet with brass patera decoration. The top with a very nice rosewood and maplewood marquetry inlaid banding.

Very nice tight birds-eye maple veneer used throughout, veneered on mahogany. The bag is a solid box type with newly re-done pleated material. Original castors to the base.

The piece can also be cetre standing as it is finsihed all round. Lovely colour.
