An Early 19thc 2 Drawer Kitchen Table

Description

An early 19thC pitch pine 2 drawer kitchen table. The base overpainted many years ago in red oxide which has flaked and deteriorated creating a fabulous texture and colour. The top has been abused but has been scrubbed back and polished to leave a glowing finish to which the old nails,cracks splits and stains all add character.The drawers are useable and the right hand one has had a repair to the bottom edge at the front which has been painted and matched in well. Overall the colour and finish is exactly in line with todays industrial look.

Seats six people and is 139 cms by 68.5 cms and 71.5 high with a knee height of 53 cms.
