A Late Regency Mahogany Drum Table

Description

The base is on four shaped legs with boxwood stringing inlay and terminating in original brass castors and with unusual ring turned column. The top consists two oak lined drawers and of four dummy drawers all with fine banding and ebony and boxwood stringing and retaining original handles and locks. The top is banded and has boxwood inlay to the edge. The leather insert top has gilt and blind tooling and is Vellum Green fading to Warm Parchment in the centre and is a recent replacement. 760 mm diameter and 740 mm high. Circa 1830.
