This is a beautiful and superb quality George II Cuban mahogany Tea Table, circa 1750.

• Constructed of top quality Cuban mahogany

This is a beautiful and superb quality Regency mahogany “D” End Tea Table, circa 1790 - 1810. It is constructed of the best quality Georgian timber, displaying a beautiful rich red mahogany patina. The table features a reeded edge, which is always a sign of good quality and four elegant straight legs. The back two legs are central hinges when opened. The table retains its original legs, brass hinges and original polish. The table features a working oak lined drawer that boasts the original ebony and ivory turned know. The table has been constructed using top quality mahogany timber finished with a superb finish. During this period, England was imported top quality timber from the colonies.

The piece will make a fine hallway, study or sofa table and converts to a lovely four seat table making it wonderful for games, tea or intimate dining.

Height: 73.7cm or 2ft 5”

Depth Closed: 46cm or 1ft 6”

Depth Open: 92.5cm or 3ft

Width: 93cm or 3ft 0½”

Condition Report:

This item is in excellent condition. The table features the original brass hinges and ebony and ivory drawer knob. There is a small cup mark on the inside of the table (see photo). The table boasts its original colour and patination. There is no damage or breaks to the table legs. The drawer is oak lined. Free of woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
