George IV Rosewood Pier Table

19th century
Description

Circa 1820, George IV rosewood neat sized pier table, with a staged top and stylish cast brass gallery with fine details. Below the top are 2 turned pillars which support the front and 2 flat pilasters at the back with a mirrored centre. The main shelf is rosewood with a moulded edge and is supported by 2 stylised scrolling brackets. The base has an unusual moulding and a deep enclosed plinth on 4 squat bun feet. The table retains its original colour and patination and has an excellent profile.

Size 113cm high x 56cm wide x 35cm deep.

Most items include delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.
