A Campaign Adjustable Reading Stand

Description

An early 19thC mahogany campaign reading stand. These were retailed by Army and Navy but this one has no makers or retailers mark. Unusually the top rises and lowers by turning the central front brass screw.Lockable pens drawer to one side.(Key present) Fold out legs retained by wooden sliding lugs underneath. Well made and complete.

61 cms wide by 5cm high when folded flat. Fold out legs are 19 cms high when out. The top rises to 45 degrees max and is 24 cms high from horizontal.
