Regency Mahogany Snap Top Occasional Table

Description

Circa 1815, Regency mahogany snap top occasional table. The rectangular top has rounded corners and a ribbed edge. The top is supported by 2 stretchers underneath the top, a circular brass sprung retaining clip and a solid mahogany block. The block also has a brass clip for holding the table in position. The column on the table is turned and tapering with a small urn-like feature just below the base. The table stands on 3 ribbed and sabre legs, and have the original metal support strap to the underside. The table has excellent colour and patination. Neat size, very desirable.

Size 68cm high x 43cm wide x 39.5cm deep.

Most items include delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.
