Here we have a wonderful Regency Rosewood sofa table of the finest quality c1820. As you will see the table has breathtaking colour and patina. The carefully chosen Rosewood has the most wonderful grain I have seen on a table of this type. There is a clever split beaded edge to the top executed with exceptional quality. There are two drawers which are the full width one incorporating the middle section again a masterful way of configuration seen only by a the hand of a fantastic cabinet maker. The quatre form base is again exceptional in quality and design. The squared and tapered column has a beaded band with four cockbeaded panels to the sides. There is another beaded band and then a deeper almost gadrooned band. The base has cantered corners with roundels on the canters. The gadrooning is repeated to the edge and then there are beautifully shaped legs with flick knees and original paw feet and casters. This really is the most beautiful sofa table and a wonderful additon to any home. Of course the table is offered in super retail condition and ready to use. The dimensions are approx 37 inches wide (60 extended) 28 deep and 28 high.
